This training will enhance the supervisors’ leadership skills and enable them to perform their tasks better.

Zebiba, one of the trainees and a supervisor at Desta PLC Butajira Factory, described the benefits of the training: “It has given me good leadership skills. I felt like I had to do all the work before but after I took the training,  I can manage the workers under me without harming the rights of the workers or the organization. This has helped the workers to be motivated, to have a good work ethic, to solve problems easily and to have a positive impact on our work. ”

Women contribute 90 % of Desta’s workforce. Therefore our motto is women empowerment. We are promoting our female employees to increasingly gain control over their lives, make their own decisions with regard to education, career, profession and lifestyle. This way, they realize their fullest potential and contribute to economic growth effectively. The availability of such pieces of training plays an important role in enhancing women’s empowerment in leadership skills.
